Male hormone panel
We'll check which additional hormone markers are useful for your question before arranging the test.
Female hormone panel
Timing can make a difference to hormone results. We'll talk this through before you book.
PSA test
An optional prostate blood test after a discussion of its benefits and limitations.
We’ll confirm the exact markers, total price, preparation and likely result timing before you book. PSA is available for suitable male patients after discussion.
A closer look
Why we include ApoB.
If you've had a cholesterol test before, you may wonder what ApoB adds. It helps estimate the number of particles that can contribute to plaque in the arteries. Here's our team explaining why we test for it.
What the standard panel explores
A wider view
from one blood sample.
We check more than cholesterol. Here are the main areas covered; we'll give you the exact list of markers before you book.
Heart & circulation
Cholesterol, triglycerides, ApoB and Lp(a) help build a fuller picture of cardiovascular risk.
Blood sugar
HbA1c gives an indication of your longer-term blood sugar levels.
Blood cells & nutrients
Blood count and selected nutrient markers can help explain patterns worth discussing.
Liver, kidneys & thyroid
Markers that give useful clues about how these systems are working.
How it works
Bloods at the clinic. Answers afterwards.
Choose your tests
We’ll confirm your panel, any add-ons, the price and preparation before you book.

Talk through the results
We'll explain what matters, whether anything needs medical follow-up and where a change in habits could help.
There may be something useful to do next.
A raised cholesterol or blood sugar result can start a conversation about food, movement, sleep and stress—not just another number on a page. Our dietitian can help with nutrition advice, and we can seek GP input when a finding needs medical review.
We'll explain what advice is included and whether further support needs a separate appointment.

Before you book
A few practical questions.
Can I book without a Health MOT?
Yes. The blood test is a standalone appointment. Ultrasound and the other Health MOT assessments are not included.
How much does it cost?
Contact the clinic for the standard panel price and any add-on costs. We’ll confirm the full price before you book.
Do I need to fast?
It depends on the panel selected. We’ll tell you clearly if fasting or any other preparation is required.
How quickly will I get my results?
Turnaround varies by panel. We’ll confirm the expected timing when you book and contact you once the full set is ready for review.
What happens if a result is abnormal?
We’ll explain the finding and recommend an appropriate next step, including GP or urgent escalation where clinically indicated.
Can you help me improve my results?
Yes. We can discuss changes to food, activity, sleep and stress where they are relevant. More detailed dietitian advice or GP review can be arranged where appropriate; we'll explain whether that involves a separate appointment and cost.
Can I share the results with my GP?
Yes. Your results can be retained and shared with your GP or another healthcare professional.
Does this replace my GP?
No. Blood testing at Your Health Studio does not replace NHS or GP care, and it is not an emergency service.
Looking for a broader health assessment?
Our Health MOT combines blood testing with ultrasound and physical checks.
