After your results
The report is a start. We help you use it.
A useful health check should help you do something with what you learn. We can talk through realistic changes, involve our dietitian where nutrition advice would help, and seek GP advice when a finding needs medical review.
For example
If an ultrasound suggests fatty change in the liver, we can explain the finding alongside your blood results, discuss appropriate follow-up and help you get practical dietary advice. You won't be left with a line on a report and no idea what it means.
Food
Dietitian advice on changes that fit your results and your routine.
Movement
Activity and exercise suggestions that feel achievable for you.
Sleep & stress
Practical ways to look at the habits affecting how you feel.
Medical follow-up
GP advice or a referral when a result needs a closer look.
We'll explain which advice is part of your Health MOT and when a separate GP or dietitian appointment, with any additional cost, would be appropriate.
Why people come to us
You don’t need to feel unwell to take your health seriously.
“I just want to check that everything is okay.”
We can't promise that every result will be normal. We can check carefully and tell you what we find.
“I feel well—I want a baseline.”
Know your results now, so you have something to compare with if things change.
“My family history is on my mind.”
Tell us what's worrying you. We'll explain what these checks can and can't answer.
A useful perspective
Feeling well doesn’t always tell the whole story.
Sophie, our sonographer, explains why feeling well doesn't always answer the question you came in with.
The ultrasound difference
Blood tells part of the story. Imaging lets us look further.
Blood tests can't show what an organ looks like. Ultrasound lets our sonographer examine the liver, gallbladder and kidneys in real time.
Performed and explained by an experienced, registered sonographer.
